HOWARD HEISS
Howard is the founder and owner-operator of Strand Finance Inc., having started the company in 1980 under the name Strand Insurance Finance Company Inc. and working to build it from the ground up ever since. His founding principles remain the same from the first days of the company: providing great service, a professional atmosphere, and flexible payment options for the clients and agents it works with.
Howard earned a BA at the University of Maryland, where he played basketball for the mighty Terrapins and an MS from New York University. Originally from Brooklyn, he lives and works in New Jersey with his wife of over 50 years, and has two children and two grandchildren.
